Her Story
My name is Shana Benhayoun and I founded SBT Stitches in 2018 with the hope of growing the needlepoint community and sharing this special hobby with others! As a fourth generation needlepointer with a deep love for stitching, I felt it was my responsibility to bring this once-dying art form back to life & into the hand of young stitchers! With a passion for designing and painting, I have spent many hours creating custom needlepoint canvases for thousands of stitchers! My small business really grew when I noticed the lack of needlepoint education. I took it upon myself to create my three different level online needlepoint courses and have taught over 500 new stitchers! Helping needlepoint evolve into a modern hobby has been the highlight of my career and I am so proud to be on the forefront of change!
