Unfold Collection 

I got the inspiration to start Unfold Collection about a year ago while looking for yet another outfit to take from my mother's closet. I noticed her scarves were folded up on a shelf and hadn't been worn in a while. The designs of the scarves were so beautiful they needed to be on display. That's when the idea of unfolding them and putting them on a canvas occurred to me. A canvas that I could wear and show off the whole design. A denim jacket was the perfect solution. I started with one scarf and one denim jacket and then the collection was born.

Jewelry has always been something that has fascinated me. It’s amazing to be able to transform a look by adorning your ears in metal or draping chains from your neck. For as long as I can remember, I’ve stacked bracelets, layered necklaces, and mixed and matched rings on each finger. I would see every broken accessory as a new opportunity to add another layer of beauty to the art. Being able to put my own funky spin on classic pieces became an outlet for me. It was only through the encouragement from my friends and family that led to my hobby turning into a profession back in 2018. In 2021, I created MFJ Fine Line, a vintage inspired precious stone and metals collection. I am so humbled by the love for my pieces and look forward to creating more!
