Casey Marks
Casey Marks' fondness for fashion began during her childhood in Texas. She loved looking at fashion magazines with her mom and translating what she saw for suburbia.Upon graduating from college with a degree in journalism, she got a job in publishing and moved to New York City. She is a veteran of ELLE and TEEN VOGUE, where she worked until the birth of her son. When her son entered kindergarten, she had difficulty finding pants for him, so she bought a sewing machine, taught herself to use it, and made him a pair. Then she made a dress and wore it to dinner. Everyone wanted one.

Casey Marks
Following a few sleepless months sewing dresses, she sought professional help in the Garment District, where she still produces all her pieces. And, while she's turned production over to the professionals, she still makes most first-round patterns and samples herself. Marks' pieces are versatile, effortless, chic, and well-made from high-quality materials. Whether you're headed to work, school-drop off, the beach or dinner, you'll always feel "dressed" in Casey Marks. Marks lives in New York City with her husband, son, and daughter, who refuses to wear a dress.
