Casey Marks

Casey Marks' fondness for fashion began during her childhood in Texas. She loved looking at fashion magazines with her mom and translating what she saw for suburbia.Upon graduating from college with a degree in journalism, she got a job in publishing and moved to New York City. She is a veteran of ELLE and TEEN VOGUE, where she worked until the birth of her son. When her son entered kindergarten, she had difficulty finding pants for him, so she bought a sewing machine, taught herself to use it, and made him a pair. Then she made a dress and wore it to dinner. Everyone wanted one.
