Vientos Sculpture Black by Agave
Type
Made in partnership with renonwed Mexican artist, Mauricio Cortés, our Vientos sculpture is a replica of his ceramic work by Agave.
Featured in black and off-white is makes the perfect stand out piece for a mantle, shelf or end table.
Mauricio uses ceramics to reflect the human figure, which has always been present in his work. It functions as a manipulable element in form and concept. The “parts” and the “whole” are both important and one cannot be conceived without the other. His pieces change the context
of these forms, confront it, and transform it. The content results in something very personal, at times absurd, sublime, erotic, and rhetorical.
Mauricio’s work has been exhibited in museums, galleries, and cultural centers in Mexico and abroad. He currently lives and works in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León,
This item is made to order and will take between 4-6 weeks.
