The Mermaid Shell Belly Chain Belt by Reshelled
The Mermaid Shell Belly Chain Belt is the second iteration of the Savvi Belly Chain. This piece looks amazing as a belt or over a bathing suit — elevate any outfit with the Mermaid Shell Belly Chain.
Made with five black scallop shells and one white twist shell, no two are exactly the same.
Depending on your size and how far up/down on your torso you wear the belt, the location of the shells will rotate. They will never be exactly even which is part of the beauty.

Hey there! I'm Jessie Taylor, the founder of Reshelled Jewelry.
I grew up in Atlanta until my family moved to Santa Rosa Beach, FL when I was 12 years old. Growing up on the beach was an amazing experience and gave me an immense love for the coast. I went to college at The University of Alabama and moved to Nashville the Summer after graduation. For the past almost 10 years I’ve worked in content marketing which now lends itself well to running Reshelled. In the beginning, Reshelled was purely a fun side hustle. After 2.5 years, working full time and moving Reshelled forward wasn’t sustainable. I made the decision to leave my full time job and pursue turning Reshelled into a full time job.
In 2018, I met my husband, we recently tied the knot in both Grayton Beach and New Delhi, India. When I'm not making or marketing jewelry, I spend time traveling or taking the quick 1 hour flight to 30A from Nashville.

Upon returning from an amazing trip to St. Barth’s, I needed a hostess gift. Shell jewelry was beginning to have a moment, and as a self-proclaimed “beach girl,” I spent time collecting shells while on the trip. I did a little research, bought a drill and some earring posts, and got to work. By the end of the week, the hostess had shell earrings straight from the beach at Shellona in St. Barths. She loved them, as did my personal Instagram followers.
I started making shell jewelry for friends and family, then eventually got orders from people that I didn’t know. The next step was to create an Instagram specifically for Reshelled, with a website following a few months after. Things were going well for Reshelled, with a handful of orders coming in monthly — I had also done wholesale orders for several shops along 30A. The brand continued to grow steadily. I’ve spent many hours finding and messaging influencers who fit with my vision of Reshelled as a brand. Growing Reshelled has been challenging and incredibly rewarding — I’m excited to continue the adventure branching into new territory. Our newest line includes pieces designed in Nashville and created with our manufacturing partner in Jaipur.
