A square silk scarf by Squard Away thick with good luck charms and talismans, radiating nothing but positive vibes, lovingly designed in Brooklyn and made in small batches. Our squares are made with a lightweight silk weave to make sure they tie and fold like traditional bandanas while keeping the sheen on the fabric to a minimum. 20% of proceeds from each scarf benefits the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

He's a remarkable guy, and the time for me to step up to the plate is long overdue. When someone you love is diagnosed with a disease like Parkinson's, it can be hard to know how to be there for them and show your support. Squar’d Away is my own way of giving back.”

When I first found out that my dad might have Parkinson’s, I immediately wanted to do something -anything- to help. I threw myself into learning about the disease, hoping to find something that contradicted what the doctors were saying, and coming up with all kinds of contingency plans... just in case it turned out to be true.
Although it took some time to confirm my worst fear, the whole thing still came as a shock. The news took time to sink in, and we, as a family, knew there were some big new challenges headed our way.
