Original artwork by Desideria Corsini by Banniere
Desideria Corsini has been painting for many years after busy careers in fashion and Public relations namely Gucci, Ken Scott, Ill Pellicano Hotel and Sotheby’s. Her painting style is mostly figurative and she enjoys working in oil, paste, watercolor and sepia ink. Her work is in many private collections around the world. While Daisy resides most of the year in Italy, one of her favorite places she calls home is Porto Ercole on Monte Argentario. She often paints this port by the many memories growing up there in the summers swimming, sailing and boating in the Mediterranean Sea.

I decided to start Banniere after traveling the world and falling in love with the unique and varying styles and cultures in different towns and cities. I had a background working in Fashion for other companies such as Stubbs and Wootton and wanted to start something on my own that combined my love of travel, art and fashion. Through Banniere, I was able to work with these local artists and come up with designs that emanate these different cultures and turn them into wearable art: a silk scarf.
