Banniere
London by Banniere
Original artwork by Araminta Curci by Banniere
Araminta is a designer and illustrator based in London. She is inspired by the marvelous green spaces her city offers; more than any other major metropolis. The centrepieces of Greater London's park system are the eight Royal Parks of London, the former royal hunting grounds. One of her favourite spots is Kensington Gardens, featured in this design. The round pond at sunset is spectacular and the idea that Kensington Palace continues to be inhabited by royalty has always enchanted Araminta.

I decided to start Banniere after traveling the world and falling in love with the unique and varying styles and cultures in different towns and cities. I had a background working in Fashion for other companies such as Stubbs and Wootton and wanted to start something on my own that combined my love of travel, art and fashion. Through Banniere, I was able to work with these local artists and come up with designs that emanate these different cultures and turn them into wearable art: a silk scarf.
