Hamptons Scarf by Banniere
Original artwork by Jessica Mintz by Banniere
Jessica, also known as the Neeshe Illustrator, is the designer and watercolor illustrator living in New York City with a background in fashion illustrations for variety of the powerhouse brands, both small and large. During the warm weather weekends, she makes the great escape from the hustle and bustle of the big city to a much quieter place, the Hamptons. The fashion scene in the Hamptons is enticing for a fashion-driven Illustrator. The peaceful foggy mornings on the beach are contrasted with the most vibrant sunsets you will ever see and draw a color palette so mesmerizing for any artist. Jessica spends most of her time in the Hamptons painting or hosting intimate dinners with friends and family, all from her backyard. When she is not painting, her favorite spots include Duryea's Lobster Deck, Wolffer Estate, and of course the never-ending beaches and dunes.

I decided to start Banniere after traveling the world and falling in love with the unique and varying styles and cultures in different towns and cities. I had a background working in Fashion for other companies such as Stubbs and Wootton and wanted to start something on my own that combined my love of travel, art and fashion. Through Banniere, I was able to work with these local artists and come up with designs that emanate these different cultures and turn them into wearable art: a silk scarf.
