HerStory
After my daughter was born, I realized that there was a huge need for tights and socks that fit babies properly. The products that we found didn’t stay on her longer than five minutes, would slouch after an hour of wear or were too tight on her stomach. I tried a ton of brands and ordered from the best department stores around, but nothing ever quite satisfied me. Since she was born during the Fall, there was this idea in my head that she just HAD to have them regardless of how they fit (we can blame that on being sleep-deprived). After asking around to friends, I quickly found that they had the same issues, which was when matters were taken into my own hands. A manufacturer was looked for and after months of receiving samples, the perfect one in Europe was found. The rest is history.
The Origin
At Olivia J, we are firm believers that children should be able to wear fashion-forward clothing, but it should still be comfortable, durable, and last through all of their childish behaviors. Our hope is for Olivia J to become a household name that families choose to dress their children in. We started mass manufacturing this past year and we hope that we can slowly, but surely, continue to expand and be sold in retailers around the world.We wouldn’t be where we are today without our loyal customers that continue to help us spread the word about our products and we are forever grateful for the love they continuously show us.
